This is Maggie’s Highlands latest Timetable of events available online via Zoom, which they have just sent us. In addition, they have asked us to point out the following:-
‘Network Groups
These are aimed at specific cancer types, giving people a chance to talk to others in a similar situation to themselves, and the groups are facilitated by one of our experienced health care professionals. Just to highlight a couple of different cancer network groups:
Haematology Network Group
2nd Wednesday of every month, 1:00 – 2:00pm via zoom. For any haematological cancers.
Breast Cancer Network Groups
Online group, monthly on the 3rd Thursday, 10:30 – 11:30pm.
Carers Support Group
This group, facilitated by our psychologist, is for family or friends who are supporting someone with cancer. It is held twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, 1:00 – 2:00pm via zoom.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if there is anything we can support you or your patients with, remembering that we are here for people at any stage of their cancer experience, and we’re here as much for the family as the person with cancer’.
